Once upon a time, there was a place called "Hamilton" It was a very dirty place. There were rats almost everywhere. People threw trash everywhere. They didn't like it. So they went to the mayor's house and shouted "GET RID OF RATS, GET RID OF RATS! And 1,000 more "Get rid of rats" saying. The mayor came and said, "What's wrong?" People told " There are many rats! I want you to get rid of them!" Then, a person came. He was dressed like a clown. He told the mayor that "I will get rid of the rats. But in return, you must give me 1,000 dollars. The mayor agreed. He started to play the flute. Every rat followed him. He walked into the river and then, the rats blindly ran into the river and drowned. He saved the day! He went to get his reward. The mayor did not keep his promise and only gave him 100 dollars. He asked for more but the mayor told to take it or leave it. He was furious about the mayor's behavior. He played the flute again, but in a different tune. All the kids started to follow him. He went into a large cave and locked them inside. There was one kid who couldn't go. Because he was lame (Walking impaired). The mayor called out the pied piper asking to free the kids. He came and told that if only he gives him 1,000 dollars, he will free them. He gave him the money and then the kids were free. The people were happy to see their kids back. But the pied piper said " You will again lose your kids and the rats will come back again" All the people were confused. They told him why. He said " Just look at your place! It's full of trash and garbage! This way, the rats will come back and spread diseases to your kids!" The mayor promised to keep the town clean so it did! It was now the cleanest place on earth.
