Jimmy Donaldson, often referred to as Mr beast, is the 5th most subscribed person on Youtube. He has removed 30,000,000 pounds of trash from the ocean, has planted 20,000,000 trees, and is the biggest philanthropy channel on Youtube, but what led him to this? Here's a biography:
Mr beast made his channel in February 2012. He just made what all others made. COD videos of some sort. His first subscriber, Chris (who you probably already know) had been friends with Mr beast in high school. So things moved on and stuff.
But something happened when he got 6000 subscribers. He changed his channel name to "Mr beast6000". It still remains nowadays.
He also got his first sponsorship and they gave him 5000 dollars, but he was like "What about 10,000?" He got the 10,000. And guess what he did with it? He gave it to a homeless person! This was when philanthropy started.
He also made challenge videos. Not the other boring useless challenge videos, but challenges about reading the whole dictionary, listening "dance till you're dead" for 10 hours straight, reading the whole bee movie script, and other crazy challenges. These BLEW up.
His challenges became crazier and crazier, but better. His cameraman, Karl also joined the team. Along with his janitor, Chandler. He made crazy videos and this went on. But he did one thing, and it was the one that GRASPED people's eyes.
When he reached 20,000,000 subscribers, he made a BIG fundraiser, basically, every dollar that you donate is one tree planted. And oh golly did that ridiculously blow up. Even Elon Musk donated to it!
He started Mr. Beast burger that pays you to eat them! It probably beat Mc Donalds. He made his fast-food chain all over America and was basically unstoppable now.
He gave away a private island, and most importantly, he re-created squid game AND made another fundraiser for the ocean. Thousands of YouTubers joined in TeamSeas, and his squid game video went viral, gaining 100,000,000 million views in 2 weeks! 2 WEEKS!
But it is important to mention his charitable decisions as well. With all of these challenges, all of this craziness, we still need to think about all the people who need help.
So even if this kind of escalated quickly, I need to end this blog.
