This is called "Sneak into basket". This is where markets add another item into your cart without you noticing. Here's an example:
Bob: Hmm, lemme take this cool candy.
Store: *Slips another piece of candy* Hehe. >:)
Bob: BRO WHY IS MY BILL SO HIGH? >:(
Friend request... or is it?
These are basically fake friend requests. So you might be wondering, "How is sending a fake friend request a dark pattern?". Basically, when you accept those friend requests, you are actually SENDING a friend request. Idk why it's used but here's an example:
Bob: Lemme check Facebook, what's in there?
*Opens facebook*
Bob's vision:
Jimmy Jim sent a friend request.
Accept Nah I'm good
Notification... or is it?
So yeah, ✨Fake notifications✨.These are used by social media to check your notifications daily. Here's an example:
Bob: Hmm time to open my stinky phone.
*Opens phone*
Spammy idiot
A guy exists!

Cool stuff idk.

Want to be rich? Stop being poor!
Bob: AYO WHAT THE-
